I dropped in to Peanuts recently at about 7 AM to watch the match which was Celtic and Kilmarnock and to talk with some of the Celtic supporters present.
It was a nail-biting time and the atmosphere was a bit tense with the score tied at one apiece until the dying seconds. Then, Shunsuke Nakamura, a star Celtic player, scored the final goal to make it 2-1. The whole place erupted in cheers and relief.
I spoke with Celtic supporters Neil Welsh and Mary Marshall and they told me that the Calgary Celtic supporters are all looking forward to attending the big Celtic convention in Las Vegas in the last week of June. This year will be a big celebration since it is the 40th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions.
Thank you Celtic supporters for your hospitality while I was visiting at Peanuts.
