WESTERN CANADA GAA 2007 - New Elections and New Names

By RONAN DEANE

VANCOUVER - With the new Western Canada GAA season fast approaching, the various AGMs for the Division and the associated Clubs have all been held, and the new names and new faces have been assigned their roles. We wish them all the very best in their endeavours in the upcoming season.

The Western Canada Division Board:
Chairman: Ronan Deane (Van.)
Secretary: Calum Bonnington (Cal.)
Treasurer: Danielle Bodnarek (Edm.)

Members-at-Large:
Laura Olson (Cal.)
Sky Johnston (Edm.)
Erin McGinley (Van.)

The Board shows four new faces, and wishes to thank the former members of the Board that move on, especially to John O'Flynn (leaving to concentrate on his new role as Secretary of the Canadian County Board) and to Kim Tulloch (who will be plying her trade in Ontario in 2007). Adrian Lagan and John O'Connor will no doubt be seen with their respective clubs in the coming season.

Since some clubs have a more complex structure than others, only a handful of the key positions are noted here.
