Declan Kelly: 2010 Irish Person of the Year
TORONTO – The 2010 Irish Person of the Year selected by the Toronto Ireland Canada Chamber of Commerce and the Irish Person of the Year Committee is Ireland’s Ambassador to Canada, Declan Kelly. He is to receive the award the Toronto Hilton Hotel on March 7.
This is one of the most prestigious Irish functions of the year, attended by over 600 people. It is the start of St. Patrick’s week of celebrations and begins with raising of the Irish flag at Toronto City Hall at 11 AM preceding the luncheon.
