New 2008 Ireland Vacation Planner
Tourism Ireland has published its new 2008 Ireland Travel Magazine and Vacation Planner to help Canadians plan a memorable vacation to the island of Ireland in 2008.
The new 56-page colour planner is the official publication of Tourism Ireland and provides comprehensive information on all regions of Ireland - Belfast, Northern Ireland, the Northwest, the East, Shannon and the West, the South and Dublin.
The new planner includes a special section which highlights various must-see activities, events and sights in the different regions of Ireland.
Readers can also test their knowledge of the Emerald Isle with the "Did you know?" questions for each region. In addition there are some excellent maps, and an in-depth article on the Causeway Coastal Route which features almost 200 kilometres of outstanding beauty and landscape along Northern Ireland's stunning coastlines.
Also included is a useful facts about Ireland section covering essential information for Canadian travellers, including information on getting to Ireland, key travel facts, getting around Ireland - car rental, bus and rail passes, sea ferry information, and a list of Canadian tour operators selling Ireland, together with a list of major festivals and events in 2008.
