OTTAWA - Zoom Airlines was founded in May 2002 by a team of industry veterans with extensive travel and aviation experience. Based in Ottawa, Ontario, Zoom operates a year-round scheduled transatlantic program to the United Kingdom and France along with a combination scheduled and charter service to the Caribbean and Southern U.S. with select Canadian tour operators.
Zoom, a direct sale airline, currently operates scheduled transatlantic service from eight Canadian cities: Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax to Glasgow, London Gatwick, Manchester, Cardiff and Belfast in the UK.
Zoom also offers flights from Toronto, Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver to Paris, France. Zoom Airlines is the only airline to offer direct service from the west coast to Paris, Cardiff and Belfast as well as from Halifax to Paris and Belfast.
Zoom Airlines offers a high quality, low cost option for transatlantic flying. Zoom's full service flights include a meal, snack and in-flight entertainment, all for your incredibly low fare.
Their wide-bodied cabin configuration has increased leg room for economy passengers and a premium economy section with even greater leg room creating a superior in-cabin experience. Zoom uses only wide-bodied Boeing 767-300 aircraft, recently called "the only plane ever built with passengers in mind" and ideally suited for transatlantic flying.
Zoom offers customers booking flexibility, by quoting fares as one-ways, making it easier to fly into one destination and leave from another. Furthermore, Zoom has no fare restrictions (i.e. Saturday night stay, or minimum/maximum stays) so customers can stay for as long or as little as they want.
