VANCOUVER – The Wolf and Hound on West Broadway has always been a favourite with all the local Celts and the very successful establishment was recently named favourite Westside Pub by the Reader’s Choice Awards.

I made a quick visit on St. Patrick’s Day and even though it was still early afternoon, the place was crowded. Many patrons obviously took the day off work because the party was in full swing with dark and creamy pints flowing.

Michael Viens and company were entertaining with some favourite Irish music, song and fiddle tunes.

I had a quick hello with Jennifer (Jen) Gallacher-Finlay the personable and friendly owner of the pub. She and her husband Jesse operate the Wolf and Hound.

On April 11 Jen and Jesse will celebrate their third anniversary since taking ownership of the Wolf and Hound with a customer appreciation day.

The Wolf and Hound is open seven days a week with live music weekly, and will be showing all the NHL playoff games along with all the other favourite sports games.

Located at 3617 West Broadway (between Dunbar and Alma) in Vancouver. For more information, call (604) 738-8909, or visit: www.thewolfandhound.com.
