Irish and Francophone Heritage Celebrated

COQUITLAM – Irish and Francophone heritage was celebrated on March 13 at the St. Patrick's Day dance held at Our Lady of Fatima Parish Hall in Coquitlam.
Entertainment featured music by Blackthorn and the Celtic Charm Irish dancers, which provided a mixture of French and Irish entertainment.
City of Coquitlam Mayor Richard Stewart was also invited to play with Blackthorn on the piano.
The Ireland Monument-Canada would like to give special thanks to Father Tepoorten, Diane Johnston and Marna O'Michninski at Our Lady of Lourdes and all the volunteers that made the night a great success.
