CD Recording Party a Great Success THE PAT CHESSELL BAND is (L-R) Rick Chapman (drums), guest fiddler Tina Kelly, Pat Chessell (guitar, vocals), and Nathan Powell (bass, vocals).

VANCOUVER - The Pat Chessell Band is a new band recently formed in the Lower Mainland. They do a lot of the old Clancy Brothers stuff along with some contemporary Celtic, and originals written by Pat Chessell.

The group recorded a live CD to a packed house at the Dublin Crossing Pub in Surrey on October 27.

The evening was engineered by Duane Keogh from the Town Pants. The band is aiming for a January release date and would like to say thanks to everyone who made it out.
