SEATTLE - The world-famous Irish Tenors will bring their magic to Seattle on December 17 when they will perform a special Holiday Concert at Benaroya Hall.
Since their debut on PBS in 1998 this phenomenal trio has produced seven best-selling albums that have reached the upper echelon of Billboards charts time and time again. The Irish Tenors PBS specials have been among the most successful in the history of public broadcasting.
The trio has performed to sold-out concert halls and stadiums the world over to the delight of their legions of fans, and have become one of the best known vocal groups in the world.
These award winning Tenors - Anthony Kearns, Finbar Wright and the newest member Karl Scully who joined the group in 2005 - sing beautiful melodies that speak of their Irish heritage, along with folk songs and other traditions that borrow from Celtic influence. Their incredible voices blend perfectly as they perform the best loved holiday music.
The Irish Tenors have great chemistry while still maintaining their individual voices. They are certainly versatile, but for many Anthony Kearns and Finbar Wright are synonymous with Irish music.
Finbar Wright is known as "Ireland's great romantic singer." He is twice the winner of "Irelands Best Male Performer" and has hosted his own TV series for RTE.
Karl Scully is the young one on the scene and is amassing a legion of fans on his own.
Anthony Kearns is one of the finest lyric tenors in the world. He melts hearts with his brogue and when he sings in his clear spectacular tenor voice, women swoon and men cheer.
Between national television appearances on PBS, the Today Show, 20/20 and Good Morning America to name just a few, along with touring, the group has developed a tremendous and loyal fan base in North America and Europe.
The Irish Tenors is one of the most successful Irish touring groups in the U.S. and is second only to superstar rock band U2.
