for the Next Irish Seniors’ Luncheons
VANCOUVER – The Irish Benevolent Society is pleased to announce two upcoming Irish seniors’ luncheons scheduled for October 21 and December 16.
The luncheons will be held in the Atrium Room at the Holiday Inn Express located at 2889 Hastings Street (near Renfrew Street) in Vancouver. Doors open at 11:30 AM and there is plenty of free underground parking.
This wonderful gathering is made possible through a grant from the Irish Emigrant Support Programme with the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Government of Ireland.
Mark your calendar now and please make your reservation early. Due to the popularity of the event, seating is limited to 100 guests and therefore reservations must be on a first come-first-serve basis. Don’t be disappointed....make your reservation early.
And, please! If you cannot attend for any reason, please call and cancel. The Society is responsible for confirming a guaranteed number of attendees based on reservations, and even if someone does not attend, their meal must still be paid for.
If you are unable to attend, then another Irish senior on the waiting list will have an opportunity to attend if you pick up the telephone and cancel your reservation.
The deadline for reservations for each event is two weeks prior. So, for the October 21 luncheon all reservations must be received by October 7. For the December 16 luncheon, the deadline is December 2.
