VANCOUVER – Eight people, including The Celtic Connection’s travel writer and longtime radio personality, Dublin-born Dave Abbott, were inducted into the B.C. Entertainment Hall of Fame’s Starwalk at a ceremony held at the Orpheum Theatre on June 27.
Also inducted along with Dave were singer-songwriter Susan Jacks, actor Bruce Greenwood, and conductor Jon Washburn.
The B.C. Entertainment Hall of Fame honours British Columbians who have made outstanding contributions to the entertainment industry in Canada and abroad.
Inductees are included in the Starwalk, the series of plaques lining both sides of Granville Street between Robson and Nelson. Their photos are also displayed in the Starwalk Gallery inside the Orpheum Theatre.
