VANCOUVER – The Tam O’Shanter Dancers held their annual Robert Burns' dinner, “The Music and Musings of Robert Burns” held at the Star of the Sea Hall in White Rock.
It was a wonderful evening with the songs and poetry of Scotland's greatest bard, the traditional Address to the Haggis, the Toast to the Ladies and the Immortal Memory.
Highlights included an intricate weaving dance performed by the Tam O'Shanter Scottish Country Dancers and the musical arrangements of the RCMP Pipe Band followed by ceilidh dancing.
Robert Burns would surely have enjoyed the honour bestowed on him that evening.
