VANCOUVER – The annual SFU Pipe Band Robbie Burns dinner was another huge success for the 2009 World Pipe Band Champions.
This annual event is hosted by the SFU Pipe Band to raise funds for their junior organization, the Robert Malcolm Memorial Pipe Bands (RMMPB).
This was by far one of the most successful Burns nights they have had so far. With all the help from the organizing committee and the parents of the RMMPB many silent auction items were donated, making it a very successful evening.
Guests were entertained by the ever popular and comedian Jim Gallacher who was once again the Master of Ceremonies.
