VANCOUVER – The B.C. Regiment Irish Pipes and Drums’ annual whiskey tasting night was held at the Beatty Street Drill Hall on January 30.

It was a big success with some 350 people attending to see the band play its set prior to leaving for Ireland on March 10.

The event was hosted by Lt. Colonel Bruce Kadonoff, Commanding Officer of the Regiment.

The band under the direction of Pipe Major Jordan Seguin, put on a good 15 minute performance showing off the sets they will play while on tour in Ireland.

A formal thank you presentation was made by Jordan to Pipe Major Terry Lee of the SFU Pipe Band for their continued support provided to the Irish Pipes and Drums.
