VANCOUVER - The fifth annual Drift Festival is back on Main Street on the weekend of October 3-4.
The Drift is an inclusive community event where local artists and businesses team up to display art in cafes, restaurants, boutiques and galleries to celebrate art in the Main Street community.
This year, the work of Irish-born Vancouver artist Therese Milis will be on display at Mainspace, located at 350 East Second Avenue in the amenities area.
Therese has been working on a series of Irish images, including castles, crosses, and abbeys. One of the images, Carrickmore Cross, is one of the crosses in the churchyard of Carrickmore in County Tyrone, the village where she was born.
