In Memory of Gertrude Lobsinger
We offer condolences to Maureen and John Keane of Seattle who write for The Celtic Connection on the recent death of Maureen's mother Gertrude Lobsinger (96).
Gertrude Lobsinger passed away in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, following a long illness. She was born in Annagassan, Co. Louth, on May 17, 1912, and came to Canada as a teenager. She lived most of her life in the Detroit area and is survived by a son Michael, daughter Maureen, and grandchildren Mícheál Keane and Michelle and Joseph Lobsinger.
