COMMUNITY NOTICES FEBRUARY 2007
The Celtic Connection joins with the Irish community in offering sincere condolences to Gwen and Tony McCamley of the Irish Heritage Society on the recent loss of Gwen's mother Cora Madge Harker (born in Rouleau, Saskatchewan). She passed away peacefully on January 18 in Langley.
We also extend condolences to the family of Art Mashal of Richmond, B.C. For many years Art was a volunteer driver with The Celtic Connection. Art was always one of the first to arrive each month ready to roll through wind and snow and rain, to make sure the paper was delivered throughout the Lower Mainland. Rest in peace Art.
Congratulations to Paul Roberts of Johnnie Fox's Irish Snug. He and his wife are excited as they count down the months to the birth of their second child.
