Diane Forsythe-Abbott's 13th Annual Crabtree Corner charity luncheon took place at Hy's Encore on December 5, supported by a faithful Irish contingent, including Patrick and Alison Reid, Amanda Hansen, Ann Carr and Maureen Gerrard
More than $42,000 was raised this year for Crabtree Corner of the YWCA which assists single mothers and their children in need. Located on Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, Crabtree Corner provides services for 1,700 women and children in Vancouver.
Anyone who was unable to attend but who would like to help make the holidays special for the women and children of Crabtree Corner by making a financial contribution, is encouraged to send a cheque to YWCA Vancouver, 535 Hornby Street, Vancouver, B.C. V6C 2E8. Attention Celia Campos.
