SArt Competition Sponsored
by White Rock Irish Club
SURREY - Students from Star of the Sea School in White Rock and the Immaculate Conception School in Delta recently participated in an art competition sponsored by the White Rock Irish Club.

Students were asked to design St. Patrick's Day cards and the Club received a wide range of designs from dancing leprechauns to colourful rainbows, fields of shamrocks, and, of course, the elusive pot of gold. All of the entries showed great imagination, with excellent use of space and balance.
Congratulations to all of the students who participated and especially to the very deserving winners who were awarded cash prizes, by Mary Schlote and Gerry O'Keeffe from the White Rock Irish Club. The winners were Chelsea Ribeiro, Rachel Boyd, Ciara O'Leary, Haley Ribeiro and Michael Boyd
