Dear Editor:
I'm looking for an old friend of my family who came to Canada in the mid-1950s, and I've never found anyone here who knew her. I wonder if any readers of The Celtic Connection might know her?
Her name is Bernadette (Etta) Phillips, nee Kane. This is she in the attached photo, which was taken on the steps of a Dublin nursing home the day she acted as godmother to my younger sister, Angela.
