A Priceless Piece of Celtic Culture is Being Destroyed at Hill of Tara

Dear Editor:

The letter from the Australian source in your letters to the editor in the April 2007 issue alerted readers to the tragedy taking place at Tara in County Meath, Ireland.

My niece Laura Grealish is a spokesperson for Tarawatch.org. With the partial destruction of Tara, a priceless part of Celtic culture is being destroyed.

Catholine Butler was deeply upset at the destruction of the old graveyard in Martindale in the Gatineau Valley in Quebec. On a smaller scale it shows the ignorance of some people in power.

The Celtic Connection is valuable vehicle for venting our views.

Yours sincerely,
Oliver Grealish
