Presents a Genealogy Seminar
ABBOTSFORD - The Abbotsford Genealogical Society will hold its bi-annual Roots Around the World genealogy seminar and genealogy marketplace on April 28 at Rick Hansen School. The seminar attracts many interested in researching their family history, from throughout the province.
There are five classes to choose from in each of the four time slots. The cost for non-members of the Society is $55, which includes lunch and pre-registration is necessary.
Ugo Perego from the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation, Salt Lake City, Utah, will present a lecture on DNA use for genealogy. A free DNA test will be available with results becoming part of a free database on the Foundation's website at: www.smgf.org.
