VANCOUVER - On a recent visit to Langley, I dropped in to Black Pudding Imported British Groceries to say hello to owner/manager Linda Hazelton and her friendly staff. There is always something new and exciting happening at the store.
"Along with our retail, we are now doing wholesale," said Linda. "We're also going to have a booth at the Tsawwassen Highland Games on June 9, and as usual we will have a booth at the BC Highland Games on June 30. We have just received a new line of souvenirs from the UK and they're going really well."
At Black Pudding there is a lot more than rings of black pudding. They have pub pies baked daily, all the specialty bacon and sausages, British cheeses, along with a great selection of British groceries and sweets. There are specialty Celtic and UK cookbooks, vintage guitars, t-shirts, and records. You could say Black Pudding is kind of a Celtic general store.
Black Pudding Imported British Groceries is located at 20243 - 62 Avenue (between 203 & 202 Street) in Langley. For more information, call (604) 532-1223, or visit: www.blackpudding.ca.
