Envy UK Jewellery Now Available in Vancouver

VANCOUVER - Keith Jack is the owner of Envy UK Jewellery which is based in Glasgow, Scotland. The business itself is 185 years old but has been a family business for the last 70 years with Keith taking the business over from his father.

These days, Jack commutes back and forth between Glasgow and Vancouver. "I live in Glasgow for two to three weeks and then come to Vancouver for six weeks," Keith said, "I have three people who run my business in Glasgow and I keep in touch with them daily by telephone and e-mail."
Keith has set-up shop in North Vancouver at the Celtic Creations store, where he designs and makes some of his unique Celtic jewellery. One stunning piece that he has designed is called Celtic Synergy.
"The Synergy range is a new development," said Keith, "It's a unique product which is a necklace that can be worn as a pendant and a necklace. It's made out of 10K gold with diamonds and it's not really not very expensive when you consider that it has two uses. I designed this 18 months ago and there is nothing else like it on the market.
"We're selling into the United States and after the UK, it is our biggest market. Celtic shops are 100 percent of our market. Ninety percent of my jewellery is Celtic. I'm also hoping to launch a new line in New York later this year.
"It's going to be a kind of memorial jewellery. It will be like a necklace that you wear but you can put the ashes of a loved one into it, so that you can keep them close all the time. We're also thinking of using it for essential oils so that it could have two different uses.
"We're always trying to bring in new products and I try to do something more contemporary that is different from what other people are doing and not so traditional."
