Irish born author Patricia O'Connor has published her second book entitled The Search For Jacqueline. Unlike her first book, My Patchwork Life, which was about her life growing up in Dublin, her latest book is a spellbinding thriller with all kinds of convoluted twists and turns. It's the story of Annie O'Hanlon, Irish-born supermodel, who returns home for her father's funeral where she is handed an envelope containing a letter and an old photograph of her father with a young woman named Jacqueline. The letter explains that her father had an affair with Jacqueline who got pregnant and died giving birth to Annie.

When Annie contacts her grandparents to learn more about her mother, they accuse her father of killing their daughter. Annie then meets Dermot Moore, a journalist who, like Annie, believes that his mother is still alive somewhere.

He joins Annie in her search and in the process, is almost killed himself. The Search For Jacqueline is rife with family cover-ups, power, money, intrigue and a little sex thrown in for good measure. It keeps you guessing and it's a good read.

Author Patricia O'Connor was one of Ireland's top models, a television presenter and has appeared many times on RTE in Ireland. She has a degree in Media and Journalism and Business Administration.
