Support Team Ireland in Vancouver Whitecaps Penalty Kick Competition

VANCOUVER - The Vancouver Whitecaps is offering an opportunity to organize an Irish/Celtic team to compete in penalty kick competitions at upcoming Whitecaps’ games at Swangard Stadium during half-time.
The Whitecaps Penalty Kick World Cup will comprise of 16 local ethnic teams competing for $30,000 in prize money for their local community cause. Each team will consist of five shooters and one goal keeper.
The five shooters must be: adult male; adult female; under 16 girl; under 14 boy; additional 40+ male or female. Shooter will be selected from those in the Irish/Celtic community who may be interested.
The community cause for Team Ireland is the Celtic Society of Canada which is a registered non-profit society dedicated to assisting those in need in our community. This benevolent fund was established to help families and individuals who are in crisis and in need of short term assistance.
You can help by signing up for a three-game pack and becoming a Patron of Team Ireland. The following categories are also available: Gold Patron: (six-ticket pack at $360); Silver Patron (four-ticket pack at ($240); or Bronze Patron (two-ticket pack at $120). Three dollars from every pack sold will be donated back to the Celtic Society of Canada.

Coaching for the penalty kicks will be provided by Al McCabe who has much experience in coaching youth soccer teams and Paul Stack who is the current coach of the Vancouver Harps Soccer Team. .
