Scotland's Tenors - Caledon
Coming to the West Coast
VANCOUVER - Caledon - Scotland's Tenors - will appear at the Scottish Cultural Centre in Vancouver on November 25 at 8 PM.
This dynamic group of three tenors - Alan Beck, Ivan Sharpe, and Jamie MacDougall - with their musical conductor Michael Barnett have had world-wide recognition travelling to such places as Australia, New Zealand, China, Germany, Ireland, the United States, and Eastern Canada, along with performing in their native Scotland and England.
Caledon is equally at home, whether it's inspiring the 55,000 soccer crowd at Hamden Park or on stage at the Sydney Opera House. They have also played in front of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth at the opening of the Scottish Parliament.
The Public Broadcasting Systems (PBS) has recently aired a program entitled A Beautiful Scottish Evening, with Caledon and the Scottish Fiddle Orchestra.
Their recent CD, The Power and the Passion, recorded with a full symphony orchestra is now available through e-bay and can also be ordered from local distributor, Island Music in North Vancouver.
