Calling all Celtic Singers!

VANCOUVER - The Vancouver Gaelic Choir is actively seeking new singers who are interested in a wide range of Celtic music, sung in four-part harmony. The group meets on Tuesday evenings at the Scottish Cultural Centre, at the corner of 73rd and Hudson in South Vancouver.

One does not require a knowledge of Gaelic to join this group. When Gaelic songs are taught, an audio tape of the words is recorded by a Gaelic tutor, for each singer. The music is ably directed by Dubravko Pajalic, who has an amazing understanding of this fabulous music.

In the past, the Choir has enjoyed several trips to the Royal National Mod in Scotland, and a singing tour of Nova Scotia. We hope to increase our numbers, particularly in the men's sections in order to maintain our standing and our promotion of Scottish and Celtic Culture in the city.

For more information, please call either of the following numbers: (604) 536_1367, (604) 251_6344, or (604) 433_3326.
