Thank You for Your Support at Our Golf Tournament

VANCOUVER - September 23 dawned bright and sunny for The Celtic Connection's third annual fund-raising golf tournament at Green Acres Golf Club in Richmond. Thanks to our Celtic merchants and private donations, we had lots of prizes for the tournament and this made for lots of fun for everyone on the day.

Winner of the Longest Drive for Men was Ben Hunter of the Penny Lane Pub and winner of The Longest Drive for Women was Mary Doak. Nearest the Pin for Women was won by Carol May. Best Team at the tournament was Doolin's Irish Pub.

We thank all the golfers who participated in the tournament and we offer special thanks to Teresa and George McDonnell for their great help and also thanks to Colleen Carpenter and Miguel De Freitas.
