Dancing In The Park with the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society
Vancouver and Edinburgh have more in common than rainy weather. On Monday nights throughout the summer you can enjoy Scottish country dancing in Princes Street Gardens but save yourself the airfare and the jet lag.
Come out for a free evening of dancing at the Ceperley Playground in Stanley Park or just enjoy the music against views of English Bay and the North Shore mountains. Dancing starts at 7:30 PM each Monday night from June 12 to August 14. No dancing if wet at 5 PM.
Evenings of special interest include: June 19 - opening celebration with a pipe band and a performance by the demonstration team; June 26 - West End Club and the Ceilidh Night; July 17 - children's night; August 7 - the Burnaby Club hosts the Vancouver Fiddle Orchestra.
