President of the IWN, Deirdre O’Ruairc, said, “I would like to thank all the ladies who came out to walk in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 19. It was a beautiful sunny day and we had a great time walking down Granville Street under our banner.

On February 17, the IWN had a very successful “Wine and Cheese and Auction” thanks to a big turnout from the Irish community. A cheque for $2,800 was presented afterwards to Maura McCay who accepted on behalf of the Celtic Society of Canada benevolent fund.
