VANCOUVER - The Celtic Heritage Society of Canada invites everyone to a gala St. Patrick’s dinner and dance on March 17 at the Hellenic Community Centre Hall located at 4500 Arbutus Street in Vancouver.
The reception is at 6:45 PM and dinner is served from 7:30 to 8:30 PM. Menu consists of traditional corned beef and cabbage, roast lemon chicken with herbs and roast potatoes, vegetables and salads. Desserts include a fresh fruit platter and assorted desserts with wine for each table.
On St. Patrick’s Day, Canadians love to participate in activities honouring Irish heritage which is so much a part of the Canadian culture that we warmly embrace. We are strongly beholden to our forefathers who helped settle this province and this glorious nation.
Come and experience the music of the Celts and the traditional costumes of the wonderful Irish dancers. Partake in the sights and sounds of the Celtic culture while enjoying a grand variety of food and beverages. There will be loads of “craic” (the Irish word for fun).
