Poor Customer Relations Offered by Setanta Broadband
Dear Editor:
I would like to point out my concerns about Setanta Broadband Sports and the monthly or yearly subscription which they offer to watch rugby soccer and GAA on my computer.
Last Friday, I paid my $11.99 so I could see Waterford and Tipperary on Sunday. I tried several times at 6 AM onwards to log in to Waterford/Tipp icon but to no avail. A friend of mine also cancelled a few weeks ago with the same problem.
I sent an e-mail to their web contact cancelling my subscription but heard no reply. When I spoke to a man at their San Francisco office, he told me there was no refund and I would lose my money.
I told him people were being misled and that I would contact The Celtic Connection newspaper, to which he replied that he did not want to be listening to this shit and hung up.
I found their response entirely unhelpful and I hope that by writing to you, I may save some fellow Celts some grief.
Yours sincerely,
Seanie Barry
