Fond Memories of Family Picnics and Irish Community in Vancouver

Believe it or not, I have just read the article by John O'Flynn history of men's Gaelic football in Vancouver [published in the October 2004 issue of The Celtic Connection].
My father was the Joe Tohill in the pictures and I have those same pictures. As a young boy, I remember with fondness all the time we had at the St. Pat's gym and the Irish family picnics. My brothers and I all boxed for the St. Pat's boxing club in the basement of the Church.
Anyway, I just wanted to thank John for the memories. I haven't thought of it for years.
The only other Malachy I have ever met was Malachy Mckenna.
