Irish Writing Retreat to Inspire Body, Mind and Spirit

A Writing Retreat in Ireland designed for fledgling writers will be offered from June 19-25. Your are invited to join authors Treasa O’Driscoll and Merle Levin on a journey of self discovery on the western coast of Ireland. The event will be offered at the Waterfront House in the seaside town of Enniscrone, County Sligo (approximately four hours drive from either Dublin or Shannon).

TREASA O’DRISCOLL

Treasa O’Driscoll draws unusual insight from the events of her own story and helps readers and workshop participants to access inner sources of wisdom and poetic imagination.

Merle Levin lives the writer’s life. Her books are inspired by her work with indigenous people. She lives between Canada and South Africa and facilitates writing retreats worldwide.

Treasa and Merle have been friends for more than 20 years and their chemistry is inspiring and guaranteed to take participants to the edge of their potential. This retreat is designed to benefit body, soul and spirt. Participants will also experience renewal as they discover the picturesque landscape of Sligo where poet W.B. Yeats saw “the whole world in a day’s walk.”

Shoreline walks will be followed each day by the deep relaxation of Victorian seaweed steam baths to detoxify and invigorate the body and increase sensory awareness. Good food, rest and laughter are also assured. Several hours will be set aside each day for individual reflection and writing. After dinner sessions will be devoted to sharing of works.
