In Memory of Joseph (Joe) Butler
Joseph (Joe) Butler passed away suddenly on September 30, at the age of 73 in Kilmaine, County Mayo, Ireland. Predeceased by his wife Mary, he will be sadly missed by his daughter, Caithriona and son Thomas, as well as his beloved grandchildren, Jason, Stephen and Shauna.

He is survived by four brothers: Willie and Val in Ireland; Martin in Alameda, California; and Tom in Vancouver, British Columbia; and one late brother Walter of England. His six surviving sisters are: Bridget, Teresa, Margaret and Rena in Ireland; Mary Ann in Washington, D.C.; and Angela in Boston, Massachusetts.
Joe Butler was well-known in many parts of Ireland and people from all over attended his funeral, making it one of the largest ever held in Kilmaine. It was only at his funeral that his family learned of many of his charitable works and acts of generosity to those less fortunate. May he rest in peace.
