Always a Warm Welcome at Doolin’s Irish Pub

By CATHOLINE BUTLER

VANCOUVER - Doolin’s Irish Pub celebrated their third anniversary party on November 17. As usual, the pub was packed and the anniversary bash brought back very pleasant memories of their opening night. From day one, Doolin’s has been a going concern and if there was ever an establishment in the right location...they have it!

MANAGER Evan King with Assistant Manager Jay Mangan who will shortly be taking over the responsibilities of manager.

Not only has Doolin's the right location, but one very big plus is their friendly and professional staff. That starts right with Christine Van, the hospitable and energetic promotions and marketing manager, to Evan King, the most genial pub manager.

Sad to say, Evan will be leaving soon to open his own business but with his personality and hospitality background, he should do just fine. Jay Mangan, another very outgoing fellow who has County Cork ancestry, will be taking over the management of Doolin’s Irish Pub.

Entertainment for the third anniversary celebration was Bob White and later in the evening the ever-popular Doolin’s favourites, The Halifax Wharf Rats. You can always be assured of a warm welcome at Doolin’s, located at 654 Nelson at Granville Street in downtown Vancouver. For more information, call (604) 605-4343
