In Loving Memory of Vincent Warren
On behalf of Vincent, the Warren family would like to express our deepest appreciation to all our families and friends for your love, kindness and support during this extremely tragic time in our lives.
Father Jerald D'Sousa, we feel touched on the right words at the prayer vigil, on noting the high number of people present, he said, " This must be someone very special," words from a person who had never even met Vincent.
We all agree with Father Jeri. Vincent's beautiful wife Sharon, his very special daughters Ashley and Katie, his Mom and Dad, Brenda and Pat, his sister Patricia, his brothers Brendan, Brian and Stephen and their spouses, his nieces and nephews, his aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada, England and Ireland, have had the wonderful experience of knowing and loving this “very special person.”
We extend our deepest gratitude to Doctors Brian Morgan and Kevin McDermid and the wonderful staff at Langley Memorial Hospital (south 2) for their very kind support and care for Vincent.
We say thank you to Father Jerald D'Sousa and the wonderful staff at St. Joseph's church in Langley, to Father Michael Conaghan for his special participation in the Mass, to Agnes Krammer for her beautiful voice to add such special feeling during the Mass and to Rebecca Blair for setting the stage with her wonderful Celtic touch from the strings of her harp.
We also say thank you to Anne Marie Sullivan and her superb staff for providing wonderful food and atmosphere at the reception following the Mass and to all the family members for their work in getting all the photos together in the reception hall which we all felt provided a special way of celebrating the life of a great man.
We give special thanks to Stephen for his superb eulogy to Vincent and to Patricia for her beautiful readings during the Mass.
Our deep gratitude is also extended to the staff of Henderson’s Funeral Company for their cooperation in assisting the members of our family through a very difficult time and to our good friend Hugh Nicol for his special effort during the funeral preparation.
We wish to say, thank you to Catholine Butler and Maura McCay of this great newspaper for their cooperation in supporting our family at this time of grief.
To the wonderful staff at Vincent's work, his many, many friends from his world of golf, and the super golf tournaments he organized for many years, will never be forgotten by family members and friends.
The outpouring of support from our friends in the Irish community will be a special strength to help us overcome this very challenging time in our lives.
Last but by no means least, we wish to say, thanks to you Vincent, for being a special part of our family, the love of Sharon's life and a great Dad to Ashley and Katie, we have loved all the wonderful ways you made our lives so fulfilled with laughter, joy and good times.
To say that we will miss you Vincent is easy, to know that we will never get to hear your funny stories, feel your presence at our family “get-togethers,” your happy ways at your work and your wonderful sense of humour at the company golf tournaments will be unbearable for all.
We pray that time will heal this horrendous void you have left in our lives, our beautiful memories of you have now become our treasures.
