Half-Way to St. Patrick's Fundraiser for the ISSC
By CATHOLINE BUTLER
VANCOUVER - On September 16, the Vancouver Irish Sporting and Social Club held a half-way to St. Patrick's Day fundraiser at the popular Doolin's Irish Pub on Granville Street and the Celtic Connection was there to record the evening.
It was like St. Patrick's Day, the place was packed and there was a line-up at the door. The craic was mighty and the Guinness flowed like buttermilk. The girls and boys from the Irish Sporting club, along with their friends and supporters had a great night and raised some money for the club.
