CALGARY GAELIC FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT, June 19-20 - Men and women’s teams from Edmonton, Vancouver, Seattle, Australia and Calgary will battle it out in this season's big Gaelic football tournament in Western Canada.
The Calgary Chieftains will be defending their status as the premier football team in the west, but Edmonton and Seattle might have something to say about that. The Calgary Chieftainettes will be hoping to build on the promise shown in the last few seasons, and start off 2004 on a winning note. (There is already a commitment from ladies' and men's teams from Edmonton, Seattle and Vancouver to attend, should be a good one!!!)
The event will be held on June 19 and 20 at the CCIAC, Calgary Irish Rugby grounds, located at 4334 - 18 Street NE Calgary, Alberta (off McKnight, by the Port-O-Call) For more information, e-mail: ronandeane@hotmail.com, or visit: www.calgarygaelicfootball.com
